$75/hour rental fee for photography sessions
For photographers renting the space hourly, our studio offers everything you need for all kinds of sessions. Not only is our photography studio filled with natural light – the front half of the space features a light and airy aesthetic with white stucco walls, while the back half of the space features a moodier aesthetic with dark gray stucco walls and higher contrast.
We have a “living room” area located in the front space with large windows – perfect for those dreamy lifestyle sessions! We have a boudoir/bedroom area in the back space with a huge window as well for moody, natural light shooting. Not only is this great for boudoir photography, but also lifestyle, maternity and newborn sessions as well! And the bedding is interchangeable between white and black to fit any style. The Black Rose also has an “office” area with both a light sofa and a dark sofa and a white rolling desk/white chair combo as well as a black rolling desk/black chair combo. This makes it incredibly versatile for headshot and branding sessions. The space also features a black accent wall with built-in bench which is perfect when you need a dark background for your images, but still surrounded by tons of natural light.
Because we have an abundance of space, our studio is the perfect setting for photography sessions, big group styled sessions and even workshops/classes – with plenty of areas to shoot in and for photographers to move around. Another benefit of our space is that furniture and décor can be moved around (with care, of course) to accommodate your needs. As long as everything is returned to its rightful place at the end, we encourage you to get creative and make yourself feel at home!
A rental space perfect for life’s celebrations.
If you’re considering hosting an event, our studio features an open floor plan concept – but can be separated by beautiful, sliding barn doors. The space also features beautiful, textured stucco walls, exposed ceiling beams and modern, stained concrete floors. The Black Rose offers a ton of natural light for daytime events as well as modern, recessed lighting for nighttime events.
Prior to your event, we move out the big furniture to give you an open, empty floor plan so you can design the event of your dreams! You’re allowed to bring in your own additional tables, chairs and decor. The majority of parking is located behind the building, but there’s also overflow parking in nearby lots. Event insurance is required to book full day events and some smaller events.
